The Grainery Care Centre provides emergency and sustainable food relief for those struggling most. Anyone on a Centrelink Health Card, Students, Pensioners or low income families can come and find free and affordable food.
Through our free community meals and community connect groups, people are given the chance to find new friends and people ready to listen and hear their story. Through these relationships we hope to end the cycle of poverty and isolation that so often come hand in hand.
Our food care program provides free and affordable groceries for Centrelink Cardholders, including pensioners, students and low income families.
Our community meal program runs on Tuesdays from 6pm during school term times. These free meals provide fellowship, a place to be supported and to build relationships
We are partnering with CAP to be able to offer Debt Management and Addictions support to those we serve through the Grainery Care ministry.
This month Grainery Care is seeking to raise $150,000 to complete the development of the 252 Community Centre which will provide invaluable support to many at-risk members of our community.
