The Grainery Care Centre provides emergency and sustainable food relief for those struggling most. Anyone on a Centrelink Health Card, Students, Pensioners or low income families can come and find free and affordable food.
Through our community meals, people are given the chance to find new friends and people ready to listen and hear their story. Through these relationships we hope to end the cycle of poverty and isolation that so often come hand in hand.
Check out below the Grainery Care Centre's programs.
Our food care program provides free and affordable groceries for Centrelink Cardholders, including pensioners, students and low income families.
Our community meals program will return in 2018. These meals provide a free dinner and a place for the homeless and low income earners to be supported and build relationships.
We are partnering with CAP to be able to offer Debt Management and Addictions support to those we serve through the Grainery Care ministry.
